When I think about it I’ve been taking photos for some years now, from grade school with my grandma’s 35mm camera. And throughout high school, college and afterwards; but even then it was just a cool hobby to have. It wasn’t until I was on this local video shoot where someone asked a mutual friend about me saying “hey doesn’t your boy have a camera”. And from there UrBoi Photography began. Years later I find myself shooting more fashion, editorial and lifestyle portraits. I’ve been blessed to see my works in several local and national publications along with a few European publications. I’ve sold some of my more artistic works and some images were even loaned for display at a few venues. I consider myself fortunate to be able to do what I love and travel because of my love of the camera.
A few of the high profile artists I’ve had the honor of working with are Marsha Ambrosius (Floetry), Ledisi, Jean Baylor (Zhane’), Eric Roberson, Res & Mindless Behavior. Although I love all forms of photography I Specialize in fashion, lifestyle, commercial and portraits.
