Having a laid back Saturday I decided to head out and get some testing done with my Nikkor 50mm 1.8. So while going back and forth with Lissa on snapchat I asked if she would be willing to bear the cold to help me out and being the friend she is she said sure.
It was still early afternoon so I opted to head out to White Creek Park as there is so much open field to work with and this was just fiddle around with this lens to locate the sweet spot on this lens and switch between auto and manual focusing.
Silly me I totally forgot to mention to Lissa (who is a great MUA by the way) that she should come with her makeup done, nonetheless she managed to apply it in the field in the freezing cold (her words not mine) and after about 45 minutes I was able to get some shots in and become more comfortable with using this lens in the field.
Here’s a few favorites from the test.
